Mark A. Looft joined Cole Taylor Business Capital (CTBC) in 2010 as group senior vice president and region executive for the western U.S. Upon joining CTBC, he launched the firm’s regional headquarters in Irvine, California, outside Los Angeles. His business development efforts target both private companies and private equity backed entities with borrowing needs of $5 million to $50 million.

Mr. Looft has more than twenty years of finance and senior debt lending experience. Prior to CTBC, he served as director with GMAC Commercial Finance’s Structured Finance division. In 1999, he launched GE Capital Business Credit’s Western U.S. regional office where he was a senior vice president. Mr. Looft has also been with Fremont Financial, where he served as senior vice president and region executive, and Foothill Capital, where he started his career as an auditor and financial analyst.

Mr. Looft is presently president of CFCC, the local chapter of Commercial Finance Association (CFA) in Southern California. He is also a director of the Orange County chapter of Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).

He holds a B.S. in Finance from Arizona State University and resides in Orange County, California, with his wife and three children.
