Eric Zaleski joined Cole Taylor Bank in 2011 as Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking. In addition to developing relationships with closely-held middle market companies and providing creative financing solutions, Mr. Zaleski is also a lead member of Cole Taylor’s national ESOP Finance Group. In this capacity, he develops comprehensive ESOP financing structures ranging from initial leveraged transactions to second stage financing for seasoned ESOP companies.

Prior to joining Cole Taylor, Mr. Zaleski spent 12 years as a commercial banking manager, including six years as Vice President, Commercial Lending at First American Bank where he was a member of the bank’s ESOP Financing Group. In that role, Mr. Zaleski facilitated ESOP transactions through financial structuring and debt issuance for companies in a variety of industries.

Mr. Zaleski is a member of the ESOP Association, the National Center for Employee Ownership and the Illinois ESOP Association. He is a current board member and credit committee member of the Small Business Growth Corporation. He is a current board member of the McHenry County Department of Health and a former board member of Bear Necessities, a pediatric cancer foundation.

He holds a B.A. degree in Criminal Justice and a B.A. degree in Psychology from Aurora University.
