John J. Kolbus Group Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Download Vcard

John Kolbus joined Cole Taylor Bank in 2008 as Group Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking. He currently manages a team of experienced commercial banking relationship managers who are focused on serving the needs of closely-held middle market companies in the Chicago area.

Mr. Kolbus has more than 27 years of commercial banking experience. Prior to joining Cole Taylor, he was a senior vice president and regional manager for LaSalle Bank for nine years. He also had a 13-year career with Citibank where he served as Senior Vice President of commercial real estate and business banking.

He is a former member of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce and the DePaul Alumni Association. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from Lakeland College and an M.B.A. from DePaul University.
