Christopher R. Snyder joined Cole Taylor Business Capital (CTBC) in 2012 as Senior Vice President responsible for business development in Ohio and western Pennsylvania.

Mr. Snyder brings more than 25 years of corporate finance experience to CTBC. He joined CTBC from FirstMerit Bank Business Credit, where he was a business development team leader responsible for sourcing asset based loans in southern Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee, overseeing five ABL business development officers located in Akron/Cleveland, Indianapolis, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, and managing the group’s buy-side ABL activities in the Midwest region. Prior to that, Mr. Snyder was Managing Director of Originations for National City Business Credit, formerly The Provident Bank, where he served as Managing Director of Corporate Banking and National Sales Manager of the bank’s asset based lending unit. He has also been with such firms as TransAmerica Financial Services Funding and its predecessor, Emergent Business Capital Equity Group, First Union Capital Markets, and Wells Fargo Bank.

Mr. Snyder is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Turnaround Management Association (TMA), Tristate Association for Corporate Renewal, and Commercial Finance Association (CFA).

He holds a BA in Mathematics / Economics and an MBA in Finance from Vanderbilt University.
